Cape Town City Tour

A Cape Town City Tour is the perfect introduction to the Mother City — a single, unhurried day that strings together its harbour, history, mountain views and the kaleidoscopic streets that give Cape Town its soul.

City centre

The City Bowl & CBD

Start in the heart of the city, where Adderley Street, Greenmarket Square and the Company's Garden trace Cape Town's beginnings as a refreshment station at the foot of the mountain.

Your guide brings the streets to life — the architecture, the markets and the stories behind a city that has reinvented itself many times over.

Long Street & Bree Street

Where the city comes alive

No city tour is complete without Long Street and Bree Street — the buzzing spine of Cape Town's cafe, gallery and nightlife scene, lined with Victorian balconies and some of the best street art and eateries in the country.

It's the easiest place to feel the city's creative, contemporary energy.

The colourful quarter

Bo-Kaap

A short drive up the slopes of Signal Hill brings you to the Bo-Kaap — Cape Town's most photographed neighbourhood, where rows of houses are painted every colour imaginable.

We wander its cobbled lanes, learn about its Cape Malay heritage and the famous Auwal Mosque, and soak up the aromas of spice and home cooking.

Sea & stadium

Green Point & the V&A Waterfront

Down at the coast, the tour takes in Green Point — home to the striking Cape Town Stadium and the leafy Green Point Urban Park — before arriving at the V&A Waterfront.

The working harbour is the city's favourite meeting place: restaurants, the big wheel, harbour cruises and front-row views back to Table Mountain.
